Dajjal @ AntiChrist Part 1
Dajjal
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ad-Dajjal (Arabic: دجّال) ("The Deceiver") is an evil figure in Islamic eschatology, who will appear before Yaum al-Qiyamah. Muslims believe he is the Antichrist, as viewed in Christianity.
Attributes Of Dajjal
Various hadith are preserved about the attributes of ad-Dajjal such as the following:
He will be physically misshapen, and see everything only with his left eye. His right eye will be present but it will be dark (black) and he will be unable to see through it.
He will ride a beast which can cross seas, fly over land, and crawl under Earth.
He will be able to see and hear many things in many places.
He will deceive the faithful, teaching them that Heaven is Hell and vice versa.
He will have the power to work miracles in order to mislead believers.
He will try to put man on God's throne.
He will have the Arabic letters ka, fa and ra (kafir) -meaning unbeliever- branded on his forehead, but only Muslims memorizing the first ten verses of Surah al-Kahf will be able to see this.
He will have the ability to revive the dead, and consequently claim to be God.
Some traditions of Islam relate that he will appear at Isfahan, and that he will rally the Isfahan Jews and many former Muslims and Christians to his support. * He won't be able to enter Mecca or Medina
Protection from the Dajjal
The Prophet Muhammad asked his followers to recite the first and last ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf as protection from the Dajjal. These verses deal with the beliefs and activities of the Christian nations. He also taught his followers to pray, "Ya Allah! I seek refuge in Thee from the trial of the Dajjal." He also stated that there is no tribulation greater than that of the Dajjal from the creation of Adam (prophet of Islam) to the Day of Resurrection.

The End of the Dajjal
The occurrence of the Dajjal will correspond with the appearance of the Imam Mahdi, who will rally the faithful on earth to oppose him. Eventually, Prophet Isa will return from Heaven and slay the Dajjal. No one is advised to try to fight the Dajjal because the final killing will be done by Isa Ibn Maryam (Jesus the son of Mary). According to many interpretations, this will occur near The Gate of Ludd (ancient city of Lydda) [1]. It will be followed by a Golden Age for Islam (not to be confused with the Islamic Golden Age) in which there are only true believers and almost everyone becomes a Muslim. After long period of peace, much of mankind will lose faith and will question the existence of God and will claim humans are God since they are so technologically advanced. At the end, there will be no true believers and the Earth will be full of sins and crimes. Various Islamic prophecies claim that corruption will be so severe and rampant, that humans will have intercourse with their mothers in public, and rarely anyone would object to such obscenity. After seeing this, Allah will order to kill all of his creations. An angel will blow a horn and Earth will shake like never before. The next day sun will rise from the west[2] and monster like creatures will appear and kill all the people. The angel will blow the horn again and the dead people will rise from their grave for the Day of Judgment.

Other Appearances
He is mentioned in Chapter 26 of "The Arabian Nights": "Sinbad Voyage 1" or "First Voyage"
"Also to while away the time of waiting I explored a little island named Cassel, which belonged to King Mihrage, and which was supposed to be inhabited by a spirit named Deggial. Indeed, the sailors assured me that often at night the playing of timbals could be heard upon it."
